FOX released a big new trailer for Gotham this week, which introduces Victor Zsasz, shows a power struggle over Arkham Asylum, and hints at Scarecrow coming to town.
Portrayed by Anthony Carrigan (The Forgotten), Zsasz has a bone to pick with Detective Jim Gordon in the new trailer seen below, making a grand entrance into the Gotham City Police department and demanding an audience with the cop. Needless to say, Zsasz appears to stir up quite a bit of trouble in Gotham in the weeks ahead.
The new trailer also focuses on the politics behind Arkham Asylum, with the mayor planning to tear down the notorious institute. But Carmine Falcone and Fish Mooney also apparently have their own ideas about the district in Gotham known as Arkham City — and so does Sal Maroni.
Finally, there are a few shots that seem to hint at Scarecrow's arrival in Gotham. A man in a mask is seen telling a tied-up woman at one point that "a lamb always gets into heaven. I make sure of that."
